The thinking behind the work.

These project decks span hospitality interior design, research, residential concept development, and brand strategy workshops — showing how I research, frame, and build the narrative foundation that drives design decisions

Hotel Brand Strategy and Identity

Some buildings have soul. This brand strategy and identity concept for a 1930 Art Deco hotel in Decatur, Illinois explores how hospitality design honors that — connecting guests to a space's history, character, and place in its community.

Research Study

Belle Isle is the second most visited state park in the United States — larger and older than Central Park, with a history spanning Olmsted's original vision, the industrial boom, Cold War occupation, and an active renaissance. Five million visitors a year. Almost none of them know that story. This study examines what a more intentional approach to placemaking might build from a place this rich in history, memory, and meaning.

Hospitality Interior Design Presentation

A Parsons hospitality interior design project exploring how a gluten-free Italian bistro in Denver makes guests feel genuinely welcome — not accommodated. The design translates a clear brand concept into material choices, spatial atmosphere, and guest experience. Developed in SketchUp & Enscape, presented using professional interior design documentation standards.

Residential Interior Design Presentation

A residential interior design project developed in SketchUp, presented in professional client format with floor plans, orthographic drawings, materiality studies, and fully rendered spaces. The project demonstrates spatial thinking, documentation standards, and 3D visualization from brief through final rendering. Developed in SketchUp & Enscape, presented using professional interior design documentation standards.

Corporate Presentation

A brand strategy workshop developed for a global HR consulting firm, introducing Jungian archetypes and employee value proposition development as a foundation for brand narrative. Designed to make strategic brand thinking accessible to large, non-design audiences.
